Dashavatar (Marathi Feature Film)- VARAHA KILLINGS

This artwork explores the “Varaha Killings” sequence from the Marathi feature film Dashavatar. Unlike location-based sequences, this scene was entirely imagined and developed from scratch, with no live location references.

The focus of this concept was to ideate how the killings unfold visually, while carefully building dramatic tension, mood, and narrative clarity through composition and staging. Every element—from environment design to character placement—was crafted to enhance the emotional weight of the moment.

Close collaboration with director involved intensive ideation and brainstorming sessions, allowing us to push the visual language and amplify the drama within the scene.

The visual development emphasized atmospheric lighting, bold contrasts, and controlled color palettes to heighten suspense and cinematic impact.
